Hey, I am so glad you are here to join me on my journey in sharing my passion for gardening – working the soul of the land.
My name is Tiffeny and I live in Georgia – planting zone 7b. My garden days began as a child making mud pies topped with worms and giving my parents dandelion flowers. Actually, my love for outdoors and gardening came from my Grandmother and my mother’s flower beds and backyard vegetable gardens.
I am passionate about the amazing way plant life thrives, its ecosystem and the benefits of gardening. My love for gardening always tied into nature – seeing the wonderful creation and all the vivid colors of life. Wildlife always made me think about the scripture verse : Matthew 6:26 KJV – Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
To me being outdoors, tending the soil and watching life happen is a beautiful spiritual experience. I always wonder how the Garden of Eden untouched by man really must have been. Through gardening, I have learned that God has provided everything we need for life and purpose.
Like I said, I have been gardening for a long time. I find it to be challenging, rewarding, therapeutic, fun and profitable. In my lessons learned before, during and after each season, I say to myself: “My garden grows as I grow and I grow as my garden grows.” I have a backyard garden and belong to a community garden in my county which is a great place to fellowship with other gardeners. I have cultivated my passion for gardening further by starting this blog. I desire to share with you and encourage you to grow life.
I understand that gardening is a diverse, unique and peculiar experience and all gardeners will bring different techniques. That’s what is so attractive to the endless indoor/outdoor world of gardening. Come along to read, learn and grow.
Abundantly rooted and grounded,
Tiffeny
